For Thanksgiving this year, Pamela Barefoot hosted a Friendsgiving photo shoot with some of our favorite vendors. We are so grateful for these friendships. We haven’t been able to team up on a lot of events this year, so it was such fun to be able to create together again. Enchanted Garden Styled Shoot

It was such a joy to flower for this shoot with Stunning Soirees. Krista and Kristy went for a classic, romantic vibe with a soft mauve palette. This was a fun one for sure - we custom-built the structure going over the head table, and created possibly our favorite cake table to date! Flower Drive for Covid-19 Relief

In these uncertain and troubling times, the entire Sophie Felts Floral Team have felt great sympathy for the surrounding, struggling communities. This ongoing pandemic has left so many without work and families in desperate need of assistance. We felt driven to start a flower drive to raise money for charity. We are extremely passionate about getting efficient help to those impacted by Covid-19 in our area. We’ll be designing thirty-five dollar bouquets that you can pre-order and purchase online. You can chose to either pick up the arrangement or donate it instead. Every single penny we raise will be given to the Greater Washington Community Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund.

Contact-free pick up is available on June 11th at our studio in Laytonsville, MD. Even if you aren’t in the area, you can choose to have your blooms donated to local healthcare workers. We have teamed up with Petals for Hope which is a non-profit organization that repurposes flowers and delivers them to those in need of a little cheer and comfort.

We are grateful to anyone and everyone that is able to purchase a bouquet and support the community as a whole. When we work together and help each other, we make our community stronger.

Winter to Spring Installation

Together with Julie Vieira, we combined several concepts for an installation highlighting the first few buds of spring! We foraged hydrangea, vines, and leafy branches for our winter base. Delphinium and roses were added for a pop of springtime color. Audra Wrisley captured the behind the scenes and the finished head table. It was such a joy working with both Julie and Audra to bring this design to life!
