Glamping at Whitehall Annapolis with Sugar Plum Tents

We were invited by Sugar Plum Tents to do an installation at a glamping party to celebrate our collaborations throughout the year! We stayed up late the night before stringing marigolds and planning our design. The next morning we woke up early to forage though the woods determined to find the very best branches. Together we loaded up the truck and drove almost two hours to Whitehall in Annapolis. We get to dream up these big ideas and spend our days bringing them to life! If you see us dripping sweat with sticks in our hair on the top of a ladder, just pretend we seem normal!

Studio Design Day

Once a month we try to design as a team in-studio to push ourselves to be creative and style something we’ve never done before! For this project we wanted to perfect our super lush raised arrangement! We used anemones, hydrangea, roses and mixed greenery. We decided to make a garland for the table as well! Emily Belson stopped by to photograph us as we set our plan in motion! Here’s the result of our teamwork!

Planner's Luncheon at Whitehall in Annapolis

There’s nothing like a crisp fall morning on the water. We were super excited to partner with our friend Sue at White Magnolia Designs to flower for a Planner’s Luncheon at Whitehall planned and designed by Lauryn Prattes and Cristina Calvert. Every detail was perfectly Fall and the menu by Occasions Caterers was seasonal and completely delicious. Photos by Lisa Ziesing.

We were honored to receive an invitation to create this installation for the Winter + Spring 2019 edition of Washingtonian Weddings. This was a really fun project because it allowed us to think outside the box and gave us a lot of creative freedom to come together with some really interesting ideas.
