Floral Design Intensive

An Immersive 3-Day Course for Floral Designers, Freelancers & Event Team Members

The Floral Design Intensive is the next evolution of our highly sought-after Flower Freelance Intensive, reimagined into a focused three-day format.

Rooted in the fast-paced event landscape of the Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia region, this course centers on foundational mechanics, bouquet design, and large-scale installations, emphasizing intentional design, strong structure, and confident execution.

The course is taught by the experienced and deeply talented team of Sophie Felts Floral Co designers, who bring a wide range of perspectives, techniques, and real-world event experience into the classroom. Through demonstrations, hands-on design, and guided critique, students gain technical confidence and refine their design skills across multiple floral formats.

This course is ideal for freelancers, studio team members, and floral designers looking to strengthen their craft and grow within a professional event environment.

We are offering two sessions this year:
MaRCH 25-27, 2026
APRIL 2-3, 2026
