Together with Julie Vieira, we combined several concepts for an installation highlighting the first few buds of spring! We foraged hydrangea, vines, and leafy branches for our winter base. Delphinium and roses were added for a pop of springtime color. Audra Wrisley captured the behind the scenes and the finished head table. It was such a joy working with both Julie and Audra to bring this design to life!

Sophie’s sweet sister Julie married her love Connor at the family tree farm in Laytonsville, MD. Being that the wedding was on the farm, it only made sense to bring some trees inside the tent. We installed the trees to the main tent poles, and their branches helped connect the focal floral chandelier that hung over the dance floor. We “planted” small flower beds and tree hydrangeas at the base of each tent stake for a really “finished” look. Julie’s big priority was her live band Go Go Gadget …they were amazing and out of all of the weddings I have seen, I have never seen one with more dancing. If you are looking for a GREAT band, check them out!
