Modern Disco At The Clifton

Kim and Rob’s wedding at The Clifton was a modern summer romance with a playful disco spirit woven throughout. Clean lines and contemporary elegance set the tone from the start, led by Kim’s sleek monochromatic calla lily bouquet that felt sculptural and intentional. Bridesmaids carried single stem roses, a chic minimalist gesture that played beautifully against The Clifton’s lush landscape. Thoughtful nods to Virginia grounded the design, with classic hydrangeas anchoring the palette and evoking the ease of a Charlottesville summer. Soft greens and crisp whites flowed through airy campanula, spray roses, and Queen Anne’s lace, each chosen for texture and gentle movement.

The ceremony unfolded as an elevated garden moment, framed by a focal hydrangea installation layered in varying heights for depth and quiet drama. As evening arrived, the reception glowed with candlelight as pillar and taper candles mingled with modern bud vases and ceramic compotes filled with seasonal white blooms. The night came alive with a joyful twist as disco balls draped in trailing greenery shimmered overhead, transforming the space into an inviting dance floor.
