Our Work portfolio filter

Video Walkthrough: https://share.zight.com/mXuXD9xE

Notes from the video:

  • Every post will automatically show in “All” but to filter the post to “Weddings” or “Social Events” or “Corporate,” add that filter in parentheses next to the Title.

    • (Weddings)

    • (Socialevents) *please note how it’s written as one word

    • (Corporate)

  • Then go to “SEO” and write the title name only. This is so the filter name doesn’t show in the browser tab.

SEO

SEO and how to get on Google tends to be the next thing to think about after your new website is live. So here is some info on what you can do below.

If your website is brand new, it’s important to note:

It normally takes 2-3 months for your site to be at the top of search engine results, but there are some things you can do to speed up that process and help maintain it.

Registering with search engines helps them know your site and keywords quicker (more info below on how to do that). But people going to your site organically, keywords, and SEO description help as well, it just takes a little while for it to build.

If your website is a redesign, it’s important to note:

The new pages and content will take a little while to show on search engine results. If you have Google Search Console already set up then you can tell Google to index the new pages.
